The History
The Originally Established Company Was Founded In 1912, Engaged In The Coating Business.
Chia-Chang paint company (CCP,parent company) was established in 1958, started to manufacture the alkyd coating (paint) ,
which was the very first paint factory in Taiwan，it was well-known in Taiwan paint industry
by the brand “JET” which symbolized the “Space" era for the human being history.
After the two oil shocks in 1970s,the former chairman, Mr. Jung-Liang Liu,
had the providence that the world was forced to modify the dependence on the petroleum economy especially
for the paint industry. He assigned Mr. Ted Huang to launch the development of the UV resin In 1981.
CCP launched the development of the UV resin. The UV monomers and oligomers were commercially available in 1984.
The UV paper varnish, the UV parquet coating and the UV hardcoat on the automobile head lamp were developed on
one after another in the following years, and built the good foundation for the company in the future.
