Profile of the first business department of Jetcoat corp
The History
The originally established company was founded in 1912, engaged in the coating business. Chia-Chang paint company (CCP,parent company) was established in 1958, started to manufacture the alkyd coating (paint) , which was the very first paint factory in Taiwan，it was well-known in Taiwan paint industry by the brand “JET” which symbolized the “Space" era for the human being history. After the two oil shocks in 1970s,the former chairman, Mr. Jung-Liang Liu, had the providence that the world was forced to modify the dependence on the petroleum economy especially for the paint industry. He assigned Mr. Ted Huang to launch the development of the UV resin In 1981. CCP launched the development of the UV resin. The UV monomers and oligomers were commercially available in 1984. The UV paper varnish, the UV parquet coating and the UV hardcoat on the automobile head lamp were developed on one after another in the following years, and built the good foundation for the company in the future.

The JETCOAT Corporate was founded in 1998 from the parent company CCP, specialized in manufacturing and sale of the ultraviolet curable (UV) coating. JETCOAT had the most widely ranging UV coating product lines in Taiwan. In 1999 it succeeded in developing the UV lacquer and the UV printing inks on optical disc. In 2001 it received authentication through the ISO9001:2000. As to grow fast along with the company, under the Chairman Guo Jiun Liu’s instruction in 2005, the first business department and the second business department were established separately according to the product lines. It aimed to dedicate to more specialized services for the different customer groups effectively by the time.

The Target Course
The first business department of Jetcoat Corporation commited to not only the further extension products in the original UV printing ink and the UV paper varnish, in 2007 but also started to develop the key components and the UV coating in the opto- electronic field, and received a lot of achievements in the LCD industry and touch panel field by now. Jetcoat keeps the faith that we cherish the customers’ value and grow together with the customers. Innovative development and commitment to develop the value added UV curable products are our commission. Step forward to the vision of “ Being one of first class UV ink manufacturers”. |
